Well, that was an awesome experience! I’ve spent time on the water and around boats most of my life, but the biggest boat I have ever “captained” was 22′. But I really wanted to go for something 26′-28′ so that the family could essentially camp on the water.
Once I got a hold of Jon, he had a boat picked out, at my budget, that was pretty much a perfect fit. But what truly made the experience was Jon setting up a mechanical inspection, survey, financing, marina space, etc. He made it SO easy and convenient. But what REALLY put the whole thing over the top…..he took me out on the boat for 2 hours to transfer marinas, show me the ins and outs of the boat, AND gave me full tutorial on the differences between captaining a smaller boat and a larger one. LOVED the experience, HIGHLY recommend.
