What can I say? Jon is just the best. I’m a first time boat buyer/owner. I started my journey to boat ownership by blindly emailing Jon in early January of this year. Jon assured me that for the type of boat I was looking for (SeaRay Sundancer 25-30 foot) that he was the best in the area and boy was he right.

From January first contact, to Mid April 2021 in the hottest boat market in Seattle’s recent history I went from dreaming of owning a boat to ON THE WATER before Memorial day with my 2016 Searay Sundancer 280!!! Jon was there with me every step of the way to make sure that every question or concern I had was answered, even when I felt like I was probably asking a stupid question as a new boat owner. He understands me, my experience level and my objectives as a boater… and most of all he’s a man of his word! Through working with Jon on this transaction i’ve come to realize that Jon works basically sunrise to sunset 6 days a week to make sure he’s doing everything he can to KEEP HIS WORD. With all the demand this year in the 25-30 foot segment of the market I wouldn’t have had ANY chance to buy our IDEAL boat without Jon plugging me into the seller and following through on nearly 3 months of emails and text messages to find me the perfect boat that was LOCAL, well taken care of and he knew the boats history as he was involved in the original purchase with the previous owners.

Lastly, it didnt just end at the purchase. As a new owner and captain Jon was there with me to go over every single system on the boat AND even coach me on navigation and docking lessons. He’s told me multiple times that he’s going to be there for me with any question I have through the life of me owning the boat. It’s a great feeling to have such a knowledgeable resource in my corner as a boat mentor and a friend!! My experience working with Irwin Yachts and Jon Heisel is 2nd to none! I can’t wait to work with Jon again when its time to trade up! If you’re buying or selling a boat in the Seattle area and you don’t give yourself a chance to work with Jon, you’re missing an incredible opportunity! See you on the water!
